The standard is this one: Model Specifications for Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Devices (BAIIDs)”, published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Department of Transportation, Washington, D.C. I want to know if it is the law that all ignition interlock devices to be used in the states, provinces, and territories in US and Canada follow this standard.
