Open Question: How to transfer from the CA NG to the WA NG?

I'm prior service and I would like to enlist in the California National Guard. I am also planning on moving to Seattle in November where I would obviously like to then transfer to the Washington National Guard. Does anyone know how the transfer process works, including how long it takes? Do I have a right to be transfered or is it a command discretion thing? Any insight helps.... Read More »
